Day Ten, Sunday, August 29

This site has been unavailable for a week because our office moved and Bell Atlantic wasn't quick getting our T1 line in! Aghhh...

Trimmed the edge of the deck with that little knife/saw as there was about 1-2 inches of extra deck hanging over. I had started to use my jig saw, but I gouged a little bit out of the hull (you can see the gouge about 2 inches from the end) so I decided to be slow and careful and use this hand saw (it's actually a Japanese Bonsai saw - very very sharp). Planed the rest down over the next couple of days. Cutting and planing took about 6 hours total.

Installed the coaming.  Used those clamps again. Still must sand inside the coaming - it's quite rough.

Epoxyed the deck. I think this picture shows the nice profile of the boat. The couch makes for a better saw horse.

Here's my girl so far. Haven't come up with a name for her but have spent lots of time trying to choose one. So have others. My cousin thinks I should omit a name and simply put my phone number! If you have a good idea - let me know. At this point, Gordon is first on my list. Don't ask.
